Anybody going out tomorrow Aug5th?
« on: August 04, 2012, 09:46:02 PM »
I was thinking White Bear Lake or Forest Lake?

I may or may not have more carb issues so I'm wary of a river yet and want to make sure I'm ship-shape before Red Wing just in case.

Anyone going out?

Barb, if your Glastron/Carlson could talk, it would be shouting at you to take it up to Redwing, MN for a reunion with the many friends it made the last time you were there. Your boat enjoyed exchanging information about the many modification made to it and formed many friendships with other Glastron/Carlsons there. Burnin Daylight misses them badly. Listen again with tuned ears. Your boat is trying to tell you something.

Ah, David, "The Boat Listener". Bet we could sell that title to one of the cable networks!

I took it from "if the rocks could cry out" implying that even inanimate objects have their story to tell.

Agh ... Burning Daylight?  Voice??  You have no idea!!!  Seriously ... you can not ignore that voice!!

Here is another quote for you ... "Get in, sit down, shut up and HOLD ON!!" ... "shut up" is irrelevant as between the tunes and the barking exhaust, save your breath.  ;D
.. it is what it is ... and that is how it should be!

Woof, Woof, Meow.  Red and I are planning on taking her our tomorrow if he can pry himself loose.  I'll try to remember my camera and see if I can get some video of Red driving it.  That's sick, we will have to argue and duke it out over who gets to drive first....

It was a little choppy, but we had a great time and the boat actually ran better than it ever had! (knock on wood)

We pulled up to a sand bar and let the kiddo's splash around. Sorry no pics of us underway.

We did too Sean, the boys had a blast playing and couldn't stop talking about it! We actually ended up driving through Mahtomedi on our way back (missing some of the 494 construction) and saw your boat in your driveway.

Thank goodness you had those water toys! I'll have to make sure to bring some along in the gunwale storage as well on future trips.
