Ran out of gas ...
We went down to the Hasting dam then up to the Ford dam.
Jason and I stoped for gas at the IGH gas dock ... Dave thought he could make it ... he all most did ...

Shawns motor was runnin funny so he went home before we went to St.Paul.

Wonderful boating trip that used all of my 18 gallons. The VRO is disconnected and back to mixing gas and oil. Like Gregg said, he and Jason bought gas at the Watergate Marina in St. Paul, but I was going to push my luck. Did not make it. Jason towed me for about 2-3 miles with the current back to the boat launch. Thank you Jason. "No one left behind." Motor ran well with the 20" Raker - 50 miles per hour with three people and full tank of gas at 5,200 RPM. Gregg's 22" Laser II ran about 52 MPH. Not many boats on the river. It was hot and sweaty. After the river run, eat in the shade in the launching park. Could not find a nicer group of people who are so open minded and tolerant of outboard motors of another color.

With me are my two sons, Paul and Philip.

My addiction to props continues - one Raker 20" and three Raker 22's"

Sure was fun! I forgot my camera so these are camera-phone pics and are not so good.

Sounds like Shawn got his boat figured out. Was a loose distributor.
