Any one have info on what launches are open ?

Rivers are open for fast boating!
I'll be on lake Vermilion though.

we are going to hit the st croix tomorrow afternoon (if i can wait that long)
but Saturday looks good too so we would prob be in for something.

DNR/St. Croix bluffs web site says dock is NOT in, but nothing about if it open ...

i called, its open, i did not ask about dock.
i recall a comment about the ramp sucking, well im gonna try it today

I've never used it but we've looked at it and it's super steep. Maybe not as much with the higher water though?
More basement renovation for me otherwise we'd join you guys. Red wing will probably be my first weekend this year.

Congratulations Joe and Laurie on the new top speed.
The big showdown is coming at the Glastron meet in August. I'm buying a motorcycle battery, losing weight, taking out all but the driver's seat, throwing out the anchor, sharpening the prop blades, taking off the windshield and chrome trim, mounting a transom gas tank, and buying a streamline helmet. LOL.

i see that, looks like the sun has appropriately moved to Sunday...
Saturday rain is spose to be in the afternoon, but as Gregg says "my phone is never right"
i would prefer to avoid the st croix on the weekend, but will show up wherever the glastrons are.

Nice day on the river ...
Had some problems launching, ran out of parking spots so Scott & Shawn had to launch at beanies.
Ran up to Beanie's to meet them.
Got about a mile down stream and Shawn's CV puked a drive bearing.

Wished I could have made it.
The three siblings and spouses traveling by Wisconsin's Highway 35 to Wabasha, crossed the river, and came back by Minnesota's Highway 61. Lots of motorcycles and Corvettes.
The picnic areas in Maiden Rock, Stockholm, and Pepin were somewhat flooded but usable.
Current was swift but not many boats out on Lake pepin.
Viewed Island Campgrounds from the Red Wing park area. Appears that they cleaning up and not in busness yet because their docks were empty.
