aq270/130c switch on top of tilt trim
« on: August 13, 2022, 12:17:29 PM »
So, I have verified all the wiring and have the new relays, but I still am having a tuff time figuring out this switch/circuit breaker that was on the top of the tilt trim it is mostly broken and has the red tape on top here. The switch is made of blue plastic with a wire from 86/3 (com) on the relay and from the bottom of the switch on the same relay that is between 30/51 and 87/87a

this is what I think this part is based on the wire diagram, this part is from a newer tilt trim I am not sure how the old one (mine) measured the up of the thrust rod if this is what it is. I do not recall any protrusion from it-however it was directly over the center of the thrust rod. The diagram says 7 circuit breaker. Any electric guys out there. Would the way this is wired allow the switch to sense position through its connections...and... does anyone know what kind of switch/circuit breaker or part number I should use?

Ba Haha...just from reading my own post and looking at where the unit was at, I went back and found a small nut under the top of the location where the remainder of this part was and found this. Does anyone know if the part I listed above (the micro switch) will fit? it is from the second style lift of the same year on the same 270/130 with the different top plastic cover.
