Title: CVX20 Jet - Repowering stories?

Are there any CVX20 jetboats that have been repowered with something other than the Ford 460 or GM 455?

There are some guys on FB putting LS motors in them.

There is one I think CV-21 at the meet usually, running twin supercharged LS's into jet pumps.  It is something to see and hear!

The black CV 21 that they had down a few years back was a big block Chevy, I can’t remember if it was carbureted or fuel injection.

I believe Merc FI, but fuel injected nonetheless.   Pictures are from island camp area, so maybe he changed something, but I doubt back to carbs.
