Back to the Grind!
« on: February 25, 2011, 09:52:44 AM »
Hey all, just wanted to let you know I received and accepted a job offer, training instructor at Lackland AFB... so it looks like I'll be joining the employed again.  Good thing for my boating habits  ;D  First order of business day 1 is to put in the vacation calendar the dates for the 2011 Glastron Classic!

Congrat Mark!  That's the one with the longer commute right?  More time to think about a CVX-20 I think!

Thanks Doran, yep, it's unfortunately about a 45-50 min drive in traffic... that will be hard to get used to after having been 10-15 min from my previous work.  Good thing I got the little civic that gets 35-40 miles/gallon... couldn't do that drive in my truck everyday.

Thanks all, you know, part of me was beginning to like not making the daily grind... man that's scarry, guess I was beginning to get a little lazy!

Andy, I did try to inquire and left a message, but no response. Chris was out that direction and offered to maybe pick it up.  The stars just don't seem to be aligning... Did you get good pictures of it?  I think this is the one advertised last year?... and he had not run it after the engine work, didn't have a way to get it to the lake from what I remember?  And I couldn't get really good pictures at that time, in all there were just too many question marks for me to go across country.
