Good going, I knew you'd get it. I would have thought though that if the safety switch was at fault then you'd have no power to the coil which I though was verified with a test light.

I think it was a case of not enough voltage.

I feel like an idiot, the answer to a problem is always over looked and is a simple answer.

I found my no spark issue, my safety switch was loose and only partially engaged causing the engine not to start.Well Brandon, it happens, thankfully it wasn't another internal engine problem

Now I have to replace my raw water pump because the phones slid off when I put water pressure to them.that sucks!. The next time you use the muffs, you should figure out a way to clamp then on, so they want slide off. I have that happen too many times on a outboard engine, however I was right there when the cocked sideways, so I could put them back in position before any impeller damage occurred
