« on: October 20, 2014, 11:47:05 AM »
No its not boat related but it will be mounted to phoenix next season.

Amber and I picked up a gopro 3+ silver on the cheap and decided to go try it out while riding ATVs on my parents land.

Enjoy!

Looks like fun!  That Gopro has good quality video and a good viewing angle. Is that a helmet mount you are using?
I just use my still camera in video mode with a homemade helmet mount.

Thanks John

It is fun riding through those rolling hills. We were blowing off some ammo also at some targets that I picked from kurt at a gun show in hastings, ne that is why you see my Yukon in some of the videos.

On the mount, it is just the head strap mount. We also got the chest mount with the gopro and will probably us it over the winter. If we get snow we like to pull a 2 person tube behind one of the ATVs going through those hills.

yes it does take good video. Those videos were taken in 1080p. When I watched them I was amazed at the quality.

edit: i fixed my uh.... thought issues

I have the GoPro app for my iphone to control it with and the GoPro studio to edit. I still have no idea what I'm doing. It really is a fun toy. Good luck.

I thought you had one too Jerry. I like the phone control also, but it sure does reduce the battery life of the camera running the wireless. Unfortunately I wont be able to use there editing software until i purchase a new PC. still running windows xp on my current computer.

BTW Kurt love the rolling targets I picked up from you at the gun show!

Opps.   :-/  You have mistaken me for someone else. You didn't get any targets from me and the only things I sent you were dimensions for a ski pylon bracket and cvx seat patterns. With that said I think you're too young to be developing dementia. ;D
