Good morning- snow day here in NH, so I get to ponder some more questions.
As discussed, the steering wheel in my newly acquired 1973 cv16ss is not the "correct" one. I have looked at photos of brochures and of actual boats on this site (thank you, all of you). It looks like I should have a "wood" rim, 3-spokes-with-holes wheel. From reading and looking, it seems that there are different shafts? Some seem to be "square", and some are taper with a key. What "should" I have on the boat?
And what diameter is the wheel "supposed" to be?
Sincerely,
Bob W
