Title: Steering control

Hi Boaters! I have a locked up cable, lucky for us we were just approaching the boat landing. So have you guys taken yours apart? Do I assume fixable or ? It's teleflex on a 1983 90 Merc...

You might be able to lubricate cable ... BUT I would replace the whole system with a Telaflex/Seastar NFB ...No Feed Back system.
Like you said  "lucky for us we were just approaching the boat landing" ... next time you might not be as lucky !

Should be a part number at one end of cable, which has length of cable.
They run about $200.
