You never know until you try. Check your 115 Mariner to see if it has 6 splines and a 9 inch prop shaft. Looks like a waterskiing prop to me.

This one would be interesting to try on the 115 Johnson if you knew you would never hit anything in the water - no rubber hub.

It looks like a " Too High Five " so might not be good for top speed ...

If you buy it, get the blades cupped. That should cost about $3,000. Let me know if you want the blades thinned for more speed.

Before you buy it, check it for balance. That thing could cause problems with vibration at 5,500 RPM if not in balance.

Here's a bronze prop from the USS Lexington Aircraft Carrier harbored at Corpus Christi, TX.  Courtney and the kiddos in front for scale ...  4 props, 4 steam turbines, 8 boilers .... pushed 36,380 tons at 34 knots (almost 40 mph) ...

34 knots? wow...Looked it up and it was re-classified as a CV-16 in 1952.  No wonder it was so fast.

Gregg, then you need another prop like this as a backup spare while boating.

And you thought your expenses were over when Sarah graduated from college.

I agree, but I will have to go to O'Reilly auto parts to get another can or two of Mother's polishing compound.

Just run high test and move your gas tank up front for help getting on plane, you'll be fine.
