Hello glastron Carlson lovers!! My name is Adam. I own a 1975 cv16 ss. Im 30 yrs old and have a love for speed, water, big engines, glastrons and my family! Im from Breckenridge MN and own what I am planning on being the craziest and fastest cv16 ss in the united States. It was said over and over it couldn't be done and its more work than its worth. Well here it is, I stuffed a gm 335 stroker in my cv16 that I built and yes i did all the work, paint everything. And honestly it was worth every hour and broken knuckle!! This baby moves and literally jumps out of a dig and the thump of a healthy running small block across the lake is priceless to me.

Welcome to the forum Adam !
Nice job .. CV looks great ...
How fast have you gone ?

I've had it to 55 with 1.98 stock gear ratio w 23 pitch stainless. Last night I installed my new upper drive with 1.50 gear ratio and I'm actually going out now to GPS run it. I did the math but I'll send a pic of GPS numbers tonight.

I forgot to mention that speed at 55 was at 5500 rpm which is about rite with that ratio and I don't have much prop slip. She grabs like a dam corvette to the pavement. I'll be on later I have to meet MN DNR officer to get my good to go slip for my exhaust. I just built baffles for my headers and I'm at 84 to 87 db at idle 4 feet above and behind. It took some time figuring that one out ugh Lol but I got her down to legal noise and they don't have ugly mufflers on:)
