If the girls don't find you handsome, they should find you handy, or Duct tape fixes anything.
We couldn't find bearing caps, so, paint can caps and some duct tape.

Yea ... Red Green would be proud of us Jerry, by the way, I think I left a bunch of that tape stuck under the dash on one side, was using it to hold up the wet mat.

I've seen paint can caps with stainless hose clamps.

I watched my dad and his brother make a wheel bearing out of wood to get an old Hydrodyne ski boat back home(70 miles). It worked but didn't pull the easiest.
