I friended a person named Lance McCarty on Facebook this last week. He inherited his family's V-179, and I have been giving him some information and help with it. Well he sent me a message today that his Grandfather brought him the worn out crumpled up Bimini top, side curtains and IMO the impossible to find rear Canvas section.
To make a long story short since I have been kind enough to help him and answer questions when he has asked, he is sending me the rear canvas and the side curtains for free! I tried to pay him something even freight but he refused. I was even honest and told him that I have only found one other rear canvas sine I started looking 6 years ago. And he still wouldn't take the money.
I told him about our forums and I hope he stops by on here sometime. And if he sees this I just want to say that I great appreciate you sending it to me in what ever condition it is in.
