Title: Saturday October 1st Boat ride On Mississippi and St Croix
Post by: fireman24mn on September 26, 2016, 10:39:17 AM
This Sat there is a bunch of us from the marina that are going on a boat ride up to Hudson from Treasure Island. We will be in the smaller boats not the big ones. I will be taking the Jet. Plan is to head out around 10-11am. and head up to hudson for lunch and a drink or too. Probably stop at the Kinni , Prescott, Nauti Hog, and or the Pit on the way back.

Hope a few of you can join us.

How's the water level on the st.croix?   No wake?  River in my town is still high, but heading down. Northfield. Rice county.   There is usually 10-12' of wall on that second picture.

St. Croix is no wake at 683' in Stillwater. Right now it's 681' Judging by the graph it may hit 683 middle of next week if it does not start coming down by then.
I walk by the Mississippi in So St. Paul every day. It's pretty high too but looks like you can still use the 494 bridge ramp. LOTS of debris though so be careful.

Seems odd for this time of year.  Hope you guys can still get together and have a safe of fun outing.  I just love the fall weather, and the cooler temps make the boats run faster/better.
