Title: Parting out v-179
Post by: 75starflight on December 31, 2016, 04:34:52 PM
I am stripping all the parts I can off of Ben's old 179. I do have a few parts spoken for. It has a good and complete ride guide steering helm. Both football badges are in great shape. The cleats are clean with no pitting.

As I said, it has several good parts, just let me know what you need.

I got one that looks like that, looking for one with paint in very good shape.
I've seen them painted and they just don't look quite right ...

Well the boat is stripped. I have the 18 gallon tempo fuel tank for sale. A little surface rust but looks like a solid tank. $20 plus shipping.

Maybe I should mount that horn on the bow of the 18?

Yep, it would look good alongside a trolling motor and an anchor winch on an 18😉

Eye of the beholder I suppose.
