The futura I got is having fuel starvation problems, runs great under 2000 rpm. But any higher and it stumbles and sounds like it's loosing cylinders. so I think I need to put in a new fuel pump. Any recommendations on what kind to use and do I also need a regulator to adjust pressure, and how much pressure? 89 5.7 350 with q jet. This pump is what is in it now. With no regulator. Fresh rebuild on carb. Also. Thought that was the problem.

i used this fuel pump on both the 1900 and bal harbor

and this is the oil pr switch i used so the pump wont run if the motor is not running

The Facet pumps do come in several models, so it is important to look up the model just to be sure. You Qjet will be happy from 3-6 psi, a bit higher if new seat and float. We used Facets exclusively on VW off road vehicles, but bought a model that supplied about 3-4psi to feed Webers or Dells. They make a Facet that can do over 10psi, I assume if a long run from the tank.

I used a Holley in the jet.
