Title: Glastron Trailer Fenders
Post by: Jason on August 24, 2017, 07:05:16 AM
I want to get two of my trailer fenders reproduced on the CV23. Was also going to try and figure out a way to strengthen them. If anyone knows any custom sheet metal shops please let me know. I always assumed they were the same between all Glastron trailers but maybe not. Group buy??

One way to make them stronger might be to make them one piece? It's one of the few things I like about my trailer. You can walk the entire length. Unless you want to keep it stock.

I like the stock look.

Take a look around here Jason, http://www.trailer-fenders.com (http://www.trailer-fenders.com).    They have a variety of smooth aluminum fenders approximately $50-60 dollar price range.  Cut the inside relief leaving some tabs to attach the plywood/carpet "bumpers".    Otherwise maybe a local trailer shop would take on the work, but I would expect that to be expensive.  BTW, they are only riveted in place with 1/4" buck rivets.  I found the tool for my impact and the rivets on eBay.
