Title: 1979 Glastron SSV 176 project
Post by: THUNDER1 on September 13, 2017, 07:28:32 PM
Came across this boat earlier this summer in Minneapolis and the interior was shot and there was no motor, well have a motor rolling around inside the deck!!  :o So the wife and I redid the interior and I had a 1969 Evinrude 115 that I added and we were able to finally put her on the lake!! Still needs some finish up work but glad shes running and floating

most times on Forest Lake, but like the chisago lindstrom area as well, we live right off clear lake so sometimes we will fool around there too.

Nice meeting up with you last nite in Minnetonka to get the ladder you held on to for over a month till I could get up here. Great talking boat and motors with you Dave. The boat looks great. Thanks again .

We should have talked before you went up there, Makinwaves needs to pick up an outboard.  Could have combined the two items on one trip

Ya really , I could have drove the Tahoe , it would fit I'm sure. We're up here for my daughters baby shower. So I had most the day to myself. Menards for lunch , 6 smith for cocktails , couple of marinas, even talked to a guy that had a cv16 at grays bay.
