Title: Army patches - help identify?
Post by: nes-cv23 on October 22, 2017, 04:51:09 PM
My uncle passed last fall and his wife was just going to get rid of all these patches he had. My uncle was not a veteran put would have if it wasn't for diabetes. He always was writing to the guys over on duty just to make sure everyone got a letter from someone and knew they were appreciated. He had many return letters and friends because of it and they would send him patches of what they were. I would like to try to identify what they stand for but don't know where to look. Any one out there know   a place to find out? or know what some of these are?

Not sure on any of those, but this is the most important one to me.  My son is at Fort Drum,10th Mountain Division, very proud dad...

Plenty of sites out there to purchase, identify army unit patches, one for instance; https://www.acuarmy.com/collections/army-shoulder-patches. (https://www.acuarmy.com/collections/army-shoulder-patches.)  BTW, spent a month at FT drum leading  ICIDS deployment.    Enjoyed working with the 10th Mountain folks.
