I had covers on it for the past 5 or so years. The Damage was done long before that. There is no wood left in it to rot any more! Its great to see it is going to a good home. As far as being covered with snow? It was 95 here last weekend. I'd welcome a blanket of snow!Yeah I guess too much of anything ain’t good, it’s just that the snow gets kind of old this time of year.
And yeah it’s going to take some doing, but this is going to be a really nice little boat when it’s done.

I have to admit it's the first time I noticed the trailer has a step on one side, and brackets like the other side did as well. For standing on to work on boat or as a deflector to protect the hull?Interesting observation. All I saw was snow, yuk.
Most high dollar custom trailers round here have what we call 'gang planks' like that on either side. Think it's more for launching and retrieving?

I say plug that funny shaped hole in the back and go with Merc outdrive. Don't forget to raise the X dimension a lil. Mebbe a LS motor in fronta it ...It will be MerCruiser, small block Ford. I think the motor already touches the cover so not sure about raising it, going to have to wait till I get into the project to make some of those decisions.
