Title: Quicksilver vs. Laser II - visual to show the blade difference
Post by: rmorit01 on May 21, 2018, 06:11:50 PM
Just mounted up the laserII for the SSV-164 with 140HP and MR drive.

I had to change the anode (or I could have cut the old one) to accommodate the blade dimensions of the laser II.  Will update once my truck is fixed and I can get the boat out of storage, but in the meantime some pictures.

First picture is of the quicksilver 21P showing the blade doesn't extend as far out as the laser II with the smaller anode in the second picture.

Yup. Need a offset anode or cut a notch in it like I did. You can get a blank anode as well but without power steering I wouldn't recommend it.
