Paint Color Code for Mercury Phantom Black?

Anyone know the color code for Mercury Phantom Black? The color of paint colors can be defined as a mixture of several colors. My paint man would like this number for the Mercury cowl so paint can be mixed by his paint manufacturer. This paint manufacturer states that he knows of no Mercury Phantom Black paint formula. Has this black color changed since Mercury outboards went from white to black in the 1960's? The alternative is to take a picture of the paint surface to be matched. I told him to call Allen at Supreme Motors.

Dave I bookmarked a site some time ago with Merc decals & emblems and I remember them having Merc paint ...
Will take me some time to find the site ... if it's still there ...

Thanks for the information Gregg. I think my paint man stated that the paint he will use is superior to the average stuff one would buy, say from a Mercury dealer. I think I am stuck with the taking of a picture of the cowl and analzying the color. My motor may have faded over the 36 years in the sun.
