Sick people are everywhere.  I had a break-in at my mountain cabin about 10 years ago.  Hey did not steal a thing but made a huge mess by opening every can of food in the place and tossing it on the walls and furniture and then taking the kitchen knives to the furniture. Filled the tub with all sorts of things then turned the water on and left. My Insurance company fixed and replace most everything I wanted but the parents of the kids (who were not well to do by any means) were left on the hook for over $15k in damages between mine and my neighbors house which was also trashed.  The kids were stupid enough to be laughing about it in class later that week. On of the other kids who over heard them laughing it up was the local sheriff's son and a friend of ours who sells us firewood. Wonder what institution they are in today??????

Poor V142 Skiflite.  :'(

That poor old Skiflite is better off giving its life like that than being subjected to the kind of punishment
a group of no brains like that could inflict.

Least he could have done with that duck blind is hang at least another 100HP on the back of it.  We'd catch and feed him to the geese in no time with that little engine on there!  ;D

I learned long ago that you can't save every old boat, and some just aren't worth saving. I also learned they charge $45 to drop them in the landfill (the proper way to dispose of "ditchfill") I think they had more fun with that boat than anyone else would have had.
Good job!!

I agree with Jerry, perhaps that boat was beyond saving.

I concur. More or less. Think a Nordic/Viking funeral would be most appropriate for the duck boat ...

What the heck??  Y'all are Minnesotans.  I'll bet a fair amount of you have Scandinavian roots.  Haven't you ever heard of a Viking Funeral?

Example:

In ancient history a high school buddy o mine's younger brother bought a Chevette for a couple hundred bucks. Looked good from a few feet away, ran okay. But rotten from the bottom up. If you set yer a** or foot down too hard it'd go straight through the floor. Reminded me of the Flintstone-mobile ...

For extra credit what was Pontiacs version of the Chevette?
