GPS Speedometer
« on: October 03, 2010, 09:37:35 AM »
Livorsi Marine makes GPS speedometers both in digital and analog in a varity of dash colors and rims, MPH indications from 80 to 200. The bad news is that the gauge with antenna/receiver, memory recall and harness runs $500 to $630 list. While this would be a necessity on fast tunnel and step hulls where the needle would bouce around and where accurate readings are essential, on our classic Glastrons, noncompetition driving, a simple handheld or dash mounted Garmin e-trex for $82 might be the practical solution.

Livorsi also has tournament speedometers reading from 0 -52 MPH.

But look at these Livorsi gauges reading 105 MPH at 7,500 RPM.

Looks like Bob has a Livorsi GPS speedometer and a bunch of money invested in his gauges.
