Up for sale
« on: April 14, 2011, 05:53:43 AM »
Yes after emails a phone conversation Goldie is going to have new home. With that being the plan my yard and buget can only handle one boat. I would love to see my 66 go to a club memeber so here what i have....

1966 creastflieght super sport trailer is good the boats done except the motor I also include the outdrive and tilt/trim and whatever you need out of the donor boat.

If anyone is interrested in buying it  call or email me and we can talk about

Thanks gents

Sweet Tom!

That will be a great project for you. I can't wait to help you turn some wrenches on her and throwing her in the river! I hope it all works out!

Tom - Maybe Rich (or someone else) can advise if the 'l' drive I have matched to Goldie is better or worse or interchangeable with the 'MR' drive you have from the donor?

Goldie's is labeled the '898' Drive, but its a 'l' drive with 898 stickers on it.

Dunno, maybe one's better than the other?

To anyone who is interested in Tom's old boat, I think I finally found a good engine. He has it $900 firm. Already pulled from boat but can still run it on a test stand with water for as long as you like. 30 day warranty (make sure you get this in wrighting). Sounds like he has some king of marine business. Will Give you $100 for the old engine in any condition.

If no one else jumps on this I may be interested in buying your boat Tom, swapping the motor, and selling it for a profit.....Or maybe keep it! Or I can help you swap it out Tom and you can sell it and take the risk this motor is good.

Just some ideas to boggle your head Tom!

Doran as far as the drive from donor boat i think ratio is rated for a 140 so v8 i think won't work. Jason if you are interested in the 66 give me a call i have a high low number in my head and if it works i would and could get goldie done interior before the meet. The only thing with 66 that i want to take is my fish finded equipment and my dixie horns .

Or...add an Intimidator engine hatch (now that Red has a mold made) to Goldie and route the exhaust through the pipes...now that'd be cool!

I just hope that some Batman fanatic doesn't buy it to do a Batboat conversion to it, that's where some have been going lately. It's just too nice for that.

Hope that beauty goes to someone who will appreciate it. Wish I could swing it. I wouldnt mind having two Jade floaters and a conversion like Rich did would do it nicely.
