Tough question, I like so many of them, but I think my all time favorite Carlson is the 1977 CVX-20 Deluxe Jet, Orange Flake, pristine original inside & out (favorite interior pattern), 460 engine. Currently trying to restore its battle scarred younger brother with the 455 olds, but if I ever find a pristine original '77 that is not 2000 miles away, I would like to acquire.
Another one I think would be great fun to build/run... a 1972 CV-19 OB, Green Flake; get one in ok condition, good windshield & hardware, but rough finish and interior, totally restore with new flake gel, interior, panel gauges, light modifications, late model large Mercury outboard (175), push mid 60s I'm guessing? Is that a stable hull, pad to ride on? I think that boat would look awesome keeping pace with
all/some of its big bore brothers out there. Can't wait to see Steve's finished product!
The CV-21 & CV-23s are awesome as well? where does it end?
