They tried to eat my boat.
« on: July 23, 2012, 08:28:09 PM »
The Geese thought my boat was grass and was trying to eat it, i swear!

Jamie and I spent the day on The St. Croix and Mississippi Sunday. Little rain in the morning but a hot sunny day after that. Saw Mike with his CV27 and Allan gave me tour of his new cruiser. Looks like he is having some great times with the rig.

Looks like they are just about ready to hoist the new Hastings bridge into position too. That would be neat to watch.

Hope the bridge is not delayed because of the State of MN shutdown. Bridge is supposed to be a marval in engineering.

Jason, how did the prop work?

Aside from the Hitchcock moment there with the birds it looks like you guys had a great time!

I supose thats one of the dangers of having a green boat! I'll have to watch out for that!

Once when I was on a moored sailboat measuring for a bimini, a 'frisky' Manatee swam up and began humping the small inflatable tender we rode out on. Well, actually it was about the same light grey color as a Manatee? Bulbous and curvaceous I suppose. Hubba hubba! Ehh, any port in a storm as they say ...

Early on he seemed to take particular shine to the flourescent orange bow rope. Nuzzling it and fondling with his flippers. Guess mebbe he thought it was a g-string bikini? According to the save the manatee club a sea cow posesses the intelligence of a Dolphin. Hmm.
