Guess the weight ...
« on: August 22, 2012, 03:36:15 PM »
Guess the weight ...

Foam blocks out of a 1976 CV16, been soakin' in lake and river water for about 35 years.
Blocks are of an undetermined size but were hand selected by Art him self.
Winner who guesses closest get the bag of foam blocks.

AND if the winner gets the exact weight I will through in a bag of wet, rotted plywood and fiberglass scraps !

Enter often ...
All weights were taken from "Official bathroom scale" and are with in a few lbs.

Winner will have 5 working days to claim his prize.

Good luck guys !     I will NOT take bribes !    So don't even ask !

Old stinkin' soaked smelly soggy foam blocks ...

Old rotted weak soggy plywood ...

Floor drains were about 2 inches above hull and held water.
Jabbed (lightly poked is more like it) screw driver thru wood & fiberglass half bowel to drain under floor

Ho in floor ...

been there done that Gregg!  That's how i found the floor was rotted in the back of the starflite this spring. Except I used a screw driver as a way to put a hole through the floor.

The CV16SS will NEVER be for sale. I will sell everything I own and live in the boat before she is ever seen on Gregg's GCOTD!
