That is kind of a hard thing to find. It took me over a year to find an original for my starflight.

You might try Ferguson Poole marine, last time I looked on their sight he had a couple tops with frames you might give him a call.

Nice looking boat! Just have to keep an eye out for the cover. Do you at least have the frame work for the top? You might be able to have a new one made for it but it won't be cheap.

Finding an original top will be hard ...
I had one on my 72 V-156 but it was in poor shape.
You could have some one make you one.

Joe Poole has a new Glastron top for a V-153 (see the national Glastron site under parts available) but I doubt it would fit a 1972 sportster. With all the variables it would be best to start from scratch, in my opinion. Or just get the framing and have the canvas built around it.

Do a Google search for top hardware or check with your local dealer for stuff laying around in back of his shop.
If you can't find the perfect match, you can find one close and cut to fit ...

Witch slide rail do you have " side of deck" or "top of deck" ?

If you mean the frame for a convertible top they can be made by a shop that specializes in boat tops.
