Changing hub spline
« on: April 26, 2013, 08:45:31 AM »
I picked up this prop of craigslist here in Pella for a mere $XX... only problem is it is the wrong spline for my Mercruiser. I'm pretty sure the case size is right. Am I wrong in assuming I can just take this prop to my local marina and re-hub it for around another $50? It's a Stiletto Advantage II 14" diameter 21 pitch.

Maybe Propmaster David will chime in. He is the resident prop expert.

Give your local prop shop a call ...
$50 sound kinda cheap though.
Yep ... Dave would know ...
