HELP! Need Logo for CVX-18 bow
« on: April 30, 2013, 12:08:23 PM »
I know I saw that someone made a logo for their CVX-18 and now I cannot find it. I have been to 4 shops here is Dallas, and they have failed to get this done.

I  need it in Maroon

We can create one - what are the dimensions of the graphic?

If you can send me a picture of the whole thing in a single image, and measure it for length & width (top & bottom width should be good), I can get it into illustrator and convert it to a vector format and assign it any colors you want ...

Its all been done already Dan.  He's striking out at all the shops in Dallas, and I know that Shawn's already done it for his & Jeff's CVX-18.  Asked him to post here to see if Shawn could help him.

Yes I have the the file If you want I can email it to you and your local Vinyl shop should be able to cut it out for you. Or if you know the color order the Vinyl and ship it to me and I could cut one out.
I think this has become an addiction.

I figured it's been done several times, Doran - but sometimes it's quicker to recreate than to hunt down something that's been lost ...

Since Shawn's already posted, there's no need.

Didn't mean to step on anyone's toes, just knew Jay had had enough hunting around and that Shawn could hook him up quickly.

Go to the search CVX decal in the upper right corner

You will find a pic of it.

Shawn was the master at this.

If you're starting a CVX bow decal list you can add me to it. The one that's on my boat is quite a bit faded.

When you buy the vinyl it can get rather expensive as the piece I bought was $100 came in a 30ft roll. That was for a metal flake color, solids colors are a lot less expensive.

The other problem I had was that it was a little more transparent than I liked, but what ya do.

Looks ok a 3ft it is only when you get up close and know what you are looking for.

But it was well worth the effort added alot because mine was all faded and cracked up also.

The only reason I noticed it was b/c you pointed it out Jeff, otherwise I would have never seen it.

Hey Doran, what do you think of a scaled down version that says CVZ18 for the front of ours?

Rich you and I must think a like. I had that same thought, but thought it would be too crowded in front of the horn vent.

I've wondered that many many times.  There are a couple styles to choose from, I kinda like the one Grinder has on his (I think its his anyway).  I think it could look awesome!

I also thought about how it would look to have it continue up through the bow cover as well.

After all, why should they get to have all the fun?!?!
