looking for some V-174 parts...
« on: May 19, 2013, 08:19:14 PM »
Hello everyone!  I am looking for parts for a V-174 I picked up from a guy last fall.  It was my payment for some side work and it isnt pretty.  Not looking for anything to spectacular in terms of quality just yet, as i just got it running today.
I could really use a complete windshield, dash panel and a horn.  I am near St. Cloud, so keep that in mind.  I will go a little ways for the parts, but the closer the better.

Thanks

Gabe

Thanks for the information.  No pics yet unfortunately.  It is at my father's place right now.  It was originally a green and white one.  Believed to be a '74.  I am getting title today or tomorrow.  The boat was repainted white and red and it looks pretty nice, although the engine cover is kinda beat up and cracked.

The previous owner put pedestal seats in it and removed the windshield to convert it into a bass boat.  Not a bad idea, but not going to work for me...

Gabe, I picked up a 73' v174 a few years back on craigslist because I needed the volvo motor and drive.  Hull has some minor damage but I believe besides the driveline it is mostly complete.  PM me if interested, I'd probably part with the whole boat if you wanted it.   It is located north of Detroit Lakes MN.

Here she is!  Rough around the edges, but seaworthy!

If it were an older V174 from the later 60's I have a bunch of parts, but sorry to say I have none for yours.
