YES  !!
I can't hardly believe it, but it stood up lust fine, but the ropes were stretched out loose, I've tightened it up some getting ready to the storms they are forcasting for this afternoon. There were 5 tornado's here, and around here yesterday evening, me and the Fox, and some neighbors stood out in the front yard and watched the one go over the lake just a mile from my house, that was Awsome, then it went on northand a little east, just a couple mile from Barbs house, then another one came up behind it and went towards Barb's house, toucked down just east of her house and done some damage there in Edmond, another fired up south of here, thats the one that caught national attention, just unbelievable, 3/4 mile wide on the ground for several miles, then another kicked in right behind it on the same track, they were just all around us yesterday, and they are predicting about the same thing today .. we'll see ?

There were several reports of debries falling out of the sky from agencies 35 miles northwest of this storm 15 minutes after it passed  Shawnee.  amazing !

Amen to that, so glad everybody is okay!  My wife couldn't figure out why I was so intent on watching the weather channel yesterday, (just raining all weekend here).  I explained that we have "Glastron Family Members" all up and down that line of tornado's and bad storms, from OK to MN!

We've gone from drought low lake levels last year to everything running over the banks, can't even get to the boat ramps here.  I'm not complaining though, as long as everybody is safe, that's the most important thing.

Oh yea Red, I meant to mention - Sometimes you can find the cheap 1" x 10' ratchet straps on sale (HF or Northern) at 4 for $10. That's what I use for tie down's on the shelter, works pretty good.  They don't stretch like the rope does, and if they get loose you just ratchet them down a notch or two!  Just a thought, I know you probably won't be using it long term anyway?

Just Unbelieavable .. the tornado is on the ground south of me about 10 miles, going directly through Moore Ok  the bebries cloud is 1 mile wide following the same path of the record tornado May 3rd 1999
This is terrible  now it's 1 1/4 mile wide  this is a bad one.
now it's 2 miles wide, I'm running my tv and my desk off the inverter, as long as the phone lines stay up I'll have that info.

Oh man, I've been thinking about you guys down there ...
Seems every spring brings you something to be wary of.  I'm glad that everyone is ok.  Prayers for your safety ...

The rain & wind through here last night were hard & heavy for a very short time - straight winds around 70.
Corps of Engineers on Sunday were prepping - they actually have to close up the damn and stop all water going out until after the storm and a survey of downstream conditions before they can open back up.  Expecting rain again tonight ... every full inch of rain in the region can bring lake levels up a foot if there is no change in outlet at the dam ... at the rate they were discharging (800 cfs), the elevation fall rate is 3 inches per week.  Not much when levels are pushing 13 feet higher than normal.

this thing is still on the ground headed for the Tinker airforse base if it continues this track, or maybe the GM plant, it just went over the neighborhood where the pilot of the helicopter pilot reporting the storm, power flashe's look like 4th of July
it went right through the heart of Moore,  now it's in a non residential district

That one has lifted up now, there is another one on the ground about 20 / 25 miles s.w. headed the direction of Pauls Valley
I'll be glad when these things are gone.

guy's .. this is sad, these folks need prayer, the school is demolished, two schools, three schools now
the grass is pulled out of the ground the whole path of this storm, water sucked out of ponds
it also destroyed a theater that had 5 screens, a shopping center, but the worst of the damage is to the schools and residentiaal districts, it was on the ground for 1 hour
post tornadic fire,  cars are piled up like a junk yard, one on top of a building
a house on fire that was destroyed, and a boat and trailer up-side down on a building.
just un-belieavable

I have been out of town since Friday around noon.  Just walked in the door and everything in my neighborhood is OK.  I live about 30 miles north of today's tornado, but yesterday's was much closer.  Television is showing a horrific loss of property, authorities are not giving comment on fatalities except to confirm that there are some, and that there are fatalities in the elementary school in Moore, OK., and at least 200 injured at this point.
