I didn't make a dedicate thread for my rebuild ... kind of wish I had.
Anyway, last minute things before I reassemble for Rathbun ... I thought I'd complete the sump area that I started last year. I think it turned out pretty good. I know it would look much better if it were all painted & you couldn't see the translucent stuff.
Not sure where the plugs were originally on these hulls, I kept mine where it was from the previous owner. After rebuilding stringers and transom and floor, realized the bottom of the drain tube was a good 2 inches above the bottom of the hull ... so I made this sump area. Now, I shouldn't hold more than an ounce or two of water after the plug's been pulled.
Also, foamed the port side last night. Once this glass is set up at the sump, I'll pour the starboard side. Then it's time to glass over the floor and lay down the carpet ...
