Genie could have had them off that island in a blink. Give me Genie anytime,  -  -  Guess that would have been a really short series.

RIP Professor.

Kind of sad isn't it?  Only Ginger & Mary Anne left...

Really? Must be all the clean livin.

Trivia: Does anyone remember what role Bob Denver played in a different show? Now I barely remember it, just to clarify.
I must admit I watched Gilligan's Island a lot back then but always wanted to kick Gilligan in the groin for screwing things up. I didn't understand (or care) that it would have been the end to the show. They did some kind of reunion show once or twice, if  I recall.  Everyone was pretty shriveled. lol!

I am not sure of the boat connection...if it had anything to do with the draw  we may have had with that show. There wasn't much boating going on. I think it was more the appeal of being stranded with the likes of Ginger and Mary Ann.  Speaking for myself at least.  ;D

Well that's really a no brainer. With Jeanie your wish was her command. With MaryAnn things might could get complicated. Plus there's the question of her age ...
