Belongs to one of the parts guys.......he needed trim for a 1973 85 Johnson....He got a good working trim,  a gearcase and all the stick on parts for 200.00.......I grabbed the silencer (to be modified) for a v4 I built this winter.

All that is left is the cowl (poor condition)  the bare block (junk) and the mid section......153.....I am guessing you are looking for the Bell style tuner...this one is not.......I do however have a complete 1977 140  that needs a rebuild..........

Got it, thanks.

Plenty of time before it will be needed, my '73 Johnson 135 would be plenty if it had PT&T.  Just thinking ahead.........?

The '77's a good one. Lil higher compression than those following. I think at least some of em had 1 3/8 carbs. And it's the only year for that bad boy tuner. Plus parts from any newer crossflow will bolt on. With the exception of the crankshaft.

If it were me rebuilding I'd add a newer intake and Chris Carson reeds. But that's about it. Course you could always update the ignition to CD4, which is nice. Does away with all that 'boomerang' crap.

Yo Mark. 135 is not acceptable. 140 is better ...
