Did I see Amy's FB post that she was out boating and you guys hadn't noticed?  What a life to be able to jump in your own boat and tour the lake to clear ones thoughts!

Yes that's right Doran.  Amy's customer mentioned it to her the next day.
Fun to see her take advantage of it and she really enjoys boating.

Doran, I should note, we knew she was out in the boat but didn't know she had sent the pic into the local news station.  Thanks to the iPhone we know where she's at on the lake at all times.

Finally ready for our maiden voyage!   ;D    Lake Havasu AZ, is a 45 mile long lake on the Colorado river, with lots of colorful spots, since it's at the South end of the Grand Canyon, and a special attraction of the genuine old London Bridge, originally built in 1831, and moved to the Arizona desert in 1974!

Nice looking Glastron, but I have to clarify the Grand Canyon statement.  Hoover is roughly 160 miles north, and the Grand Canyon ends at the beginning of lake Mead.  Next up from Havasu is Davis Dam forming lake Mohave, then Hoover.   Lake Powell at Glen Canyon is at the beginning of the GC.    Not to say that Havasu is not a gorgeous pond to play on, just bring plenty of sunscreen, Bimini tops are nearly mandated there.   I spent plenty of time at Parker Dam, but never on the water.  Odd dynamic, College kids and retirees, not much in between.  Just an observation, Mike

Thanks for the compliment, Mike!   It took some work to get it ready for the water!   I had to machine some engine parts to get the '73 Ev useable.      Found a new OEM stator for the ignition system on the Greek island of Cypress.   Ok, my geography might be a little off, but the north end of the 45 mile long "pond" (?) has many beautiful canyons that look a lot like the Grand Canyon!   Sorry you never made it onto the water.   You missed a lot.   Havasu City is a thriving city of 56,000 people (more in the summer)!   A boating mecca, and lots of good restaraunts!

I guess this shot should be titled "Just The Stern"!
