Starting the boating trip with the grandchildren the last fourth of July, going from the bay at Lions Levee Park at St. Paul Park onto the Mississippi River.  The grandchild appears well prepared for whatever would happen.

Odd picture tonight of the dew on the bow.

I might have it figured out.  Under the bow are foam flotation strips.  This foam also is an insulator and retains the heat of the day.  The non insulated areas temperature drops quicker to the dew point and a fine dew forms on the top deck on this very humid evening.

Either that, or the structure is about to collapse around me.  😊

I've done some reading on sailors from that time period.
They slept on the deck, because hold was full of supply's, there meals were rotted meat's ,two month old biscuits and algae filled water by end of there trip.
And no internet access !

92 degrees at sunset but it always feels cool in the boat at night. A glass of wine, a Sunday drive around the lake. That's what I'm talkin' about.
