WTB: 80's Attwood Stow Away Stern Light Pole
« on: August 11, 2016, 03:00:11 PM »
I have a 1981 Glastron Carlson C500 and have lost my stow away stern light pole. It is the one with a rectangular head and a triangular lens. The lens is available all over the place but I can not find the pole.

Thank you,
Kevin

Keep searching eBay ...
Or ...
Find a 80's boat on Craigslist, that's cheap and or in need of a lot of work and offer to buy the light pole.
Also ...
There are some boat (junk) salvage yard.

Hyperacme,

Looks like that will be my only chance. The old bases are all over the place but the poles seem to be nonexistent.

Thanks again,

Kevin

I did a search and found ... Nothing !
Even Great Lakes Skipper didn't have them ...
Bet they were used on other brands of boats also.

While not the correct light, the one Aaron posted on CGOA site is KILLER !
Nice one could go for over $100 thought ...

Keep searching ... One will show up ...
Can you post some pictures of your C500 ?

I've seen that one used on a Chris Craft. I'll keep my eyes open for one up here in Western Canada.

Yeah Gregg, they are pretty rare it seems. I have 3 of them I think.

So one or two are for sale. Don't mind international shipping. Just have to figure out how much it would cost if anyone is interested.

Is this what you're looking for?   This is on my Metric C-512.

Dorelse,

Thank you but Hyperacme is correct. I need the one with the square (rectangular) top.

Be patient.  They show up every so often on e-bay.   I've bought two in the last couple of years.
