A couple nights last week, and Sunday.
The majority of the mess is just me not putting things away, so the biggest problem is finding places to put the new acquisitions.
Although I have to admit my "collection" is reaching critical mass

Seems as though we live in a world now when we can find pretty much anything anytime.....so I try to keep my "I might use it some day" pile as small as possible.

Our two car garage is filled with the boat and Joy's gardening stuff in the summer, and it amazes me we can clear the garage area for the two cars each year come winter.

Joe/Laurie, your daughter has fine taste in automobiles. I've been into VW's since I was 15. I have a full Bentley manual for that Passat should you need me to look up anything. As for the shop, it looks good, it's amazing how fast things fill up. Mine is a similar form of organized chaos.

I loved the Bug pic, the wind up keys were popular in the day. Funny your quote "Imagine your daughter getting picked up for a date in this" would apply to Laurie? I would have to go back and scan some high school era photos of my first Baja Bug circa 1981, but this is what I drove as a daily driver back in the 90"s.

I had a Richfield cop stop me one night and told me I can’t drive from the back seat. I asked him if he could see a seat in front of this one. He said no I can’t, and I said well and I’m not driving from the back seat than. He said Drive safe, and let me go. Fun car to drive. I loved pulling up along side another VW and watching their expression.
