Returning to Active Status!
« on: October 19, 2017, 12:37:53 PM »
Just bought a 1979 HPV 175!  This one needs a ton of TLC.  Planning on an 18 month restoration plan.

Does anyone else have this model?

Don't think so ... on here at least.
Quick search on CGOA, didn't turn up any "Good" results.
Maybe a "Google" search will find a fishing forum with something ?
Other then that should be the same as any Glastron outboard ... Rotted wood !
LOL ...

LOTS of rotted wood in this one.

Pam wanted an open bow to access the beach and I think the hull lines are appealing.

Considering a late model Mercury for power.

Mark says its a CVX-18 bottom.

Should make a pretty cool boat !
Like a big GX150 ... With a Merc XR2 or XR4 on a CVX18 hull.
