Here's the Glastron I grew up with, a '71 GT160. My dad bought it brand new, probably wasn't more than a couple years old in this picture. It spent many weekends out at lake Waconia. Usually the fastest boat on the lake.  ;)

I love this picture every time it comes up.

Looks like a few of you still have working Photobucket links.....

Was this picture ever in a calendar?  Absolutely gorgeous shot, my compliments to the photographer.  Just seems to tie in all my favorites, camping, boosting, sunset, calm water...

Doing a Glastron search on Google, for the GCOTD thread I found theses ..

#1 is listed as Art and his first wife 1965.
#2 is LA boat show no date, looks like early 70's by horn boxes on decks.

It was this picture Laurie.   Cannot tell what is next to the GT.   Just one of my favorites.

Next couple are from separate trips, one at Rathbun, another on the Mo.

Thoroughly enjoyed everyone's photos and the fun they were having, has me thinking back on all our fun and the fun to come this summer.  Saying goodbye to the little blue boat we have loved for over 5 years now, but the cool thing is I gave it to my son.  maybe he might be nice and trade me back once in a great while. lol.
