LBJ's custom boat restored to former glory by new owners

This boat acquired by Todd, administrator of the national Glastron site, long ago and now sold and restored. At one time, I believe he was asking $100,000 for it. Looks like the right people bought it, friends of LBJ, perfectionists, willing to spend money to restore. I like the woman's comment at the end of the video - "Hooray, we did it."  That is what we say also after our Glastron projects are complete.

Cool! I know Todd had been trying to sell that boat for a LONG time. I think they did a great job with the restoration and nice touch with the modern engine. I sure hope the hull doesn't crack!

Wasn't it $500,000 on ebay as an attention getter price?

Very cool to see someone was able to save it !
The emblem is worth as much as the boat …
