1984 SSV-177 I/O Floor Repair HELP

(1/1)

Silver GT-150:
I'm working on a SSV-177 and it looks like the seat bases are fiber-glassed to the floor, is that correct? And how do you remove the seats from the seat bases?  I just took a quick look at last night and thought I would ask for some intelligent insight before I get myself into trouble.  :)  The second picture is looking through the side of the seat with it partially opened.

Hyperacme:
On older Glastron's and Glastron Carlson's the seat base's were attached to floor by angled aluminum plates.
The forward seat pad was attached to seat base and the other three were on hinges so they could fold down to bench, with aluminum legs to support rear facing seat pad.
Yours looks to have aluminum channels for seat pads and backs.
Can you have someone hold seat backs and rear pad up so you can disconnect forward seat pad ?

Silver GT-150:
Thanks Gregg, I'll try that.  Yes, i went into this thinking they seat bases would be held by aluminum angles but not the case here.

Hyperacme:
Ya .. I'm not much help .. LOL
Do front and rear (bottoms) slide out from center and backs fold flat ?
Did some searching and couldn't find any good info ..
