Identifying boat model and year, engine model and year

To the best of my knowledge through Google image searches and for sale ads, I have a 1981 Glastron C500, but does it say that anywhere on the boat? All I can see on it is "Glastron Carlson." The previous owner told me it is a 1981. I don't know anything about the engine besides that it is a 115 HP Mercury.

Look on the stern, on right side just under rub rail. Last number will be year built.
Some have a "M" in front which means model year.
If you can post it. someone will help.

Your Merc will have a serial number on tilt tube.

Well...according to the brochures...the C-500 was only sold in 1981.  So, I'd assume yours is an '81 too, but obviously the HIN will confirm that.

C-500 was available 1981-1982. There is another Glastron brochure not on cgoamn.com that includes it. 1982 is probably the most confusing year for models.

His emerald mist color should be a 1981.

There's a red 1982 C500 on CL.
