Snake Island Public Information Officer Pat McCarthy, to his eternal chagrin I predict, won one of said contraptions in a raffle last weekend. Not the grand prize he was hoping for.
In his defense Pat's loose lipped girlfriend leaked the story. Additionaly, there is no evidence to prove he's ever actually piloted the aforementioned vessel. But I fear the damage to his reputation has been done. People on the island are murmuring things like "Manatee Lover", etc.
The Mayor has launched a half full investigation ...
