Hi everyone,just bought my first carlson a 1979 cvx-16 with merc 115. the interior needs som ework but its all there except the center consol does anyone have one for sale? I live in kenosha,wi have had several other boats but this is my first glastron/carlson.Havent hadit on the water yet,hopefully this weekend.my name is Larry

If you can Make it to Red Wing in about a month you will not regret it! Even if just for the day on Saturday. Usually about 40-50 boats.

Shrom has a    ...   "CVX-18 Custom center Console. Possibly fit others"

I'm not sure what this one is out of CVX-18 or 16 ...

This is what the console out of a CVX16 looks like. Don't own the boat anymore so I can't give you dimensions, but I think David is getting those for you anyways. Mine was nice for keeping keys, wallet and cell phone in.

thats nice looking.Thanks for pic.Do you know if they all had the console or was it a option? Dosent look like my boat ever had one.

I think the consoles started showing up as standard equipment when the boat was re-introduced in '83,  which is what year mine was. I don't think it was ever available even as an option for your boat. My '79 CVX18 also doesn't have a console but most of them built in the '80s do. The CVX16 was dropped in the early eighties for a year or two when Glastron Carlson released the metric series and then was brought back.
