Jim & Others who frequent the Mississippi...what is all needed for safety gear so we can all pass a Sheriff's inspection?

Working Horn
Throwable

etc?  Anyone have a list?  I know I personally have some things to fix yet...horn & and a proper fire extinguisher.

Proper working lights if you are going on Friday eve cruise.
Fire extinguisher, anchor & rope, horn, paddle, life vest of proper size for all passengers.
Children under 12 need vest on when boat is under power.
Horn, throwable & something red or orange to wave if in trouble.

What did I miss?

That's news to me.

Does an anchor count as a throwable? J/K

Not required but recommended.
I don't think an anchor & rope are required either.
