Ah good thinking. Dont want no whoopy cushions in there. I'm going to have to have them done professionally so thats off a ways.
Been thinking about the back supports. I wonder if I could bend up some conduit.
Basically, what Marks originals have are aluminum tubing like on lawn chairs. Hey, there's a source for the tubing. Spare lawn chairs!

Glassing question. Not sure why this came to mind but if doing multiple layers, should it all be done is some particular time frame or doesnt it matter. For example, do the next layer within x amount of hours or if you can not, then wait x amount of days in order for it to bond properly? The can does not specify that, but for some reason, I have this idea. I may be thinking of something else.
I want to get this floor weather tight so I can move it outside.

When glassing layers it's preferable to get the next layer on before the previous one cures, while still wet or tacky. This ensures a better bond of the layers. If you wait for the previous layer to cure then it needs to be sanded or roughed up to break up the outer skin so there's something for the new layer to adhere to.

ah that makes sense. I'd prefer to get the mess done all at once anyways and avoid additional sanding.
